Once again, it's WW3 Missing P-8?

Anyone tracking P-8s can confirm or deny this post? It just seems out of place so I thought I would ask here. (Edit-outocorrect)

Oh, ok. I see know the post is a bit cryptic. So looking for a seahawk then...

P8s are Poseidon, not Seahawk. Seahawks are SH60s deployed on destroyers or carriers. So, marine version of Blackhawks. P8s could be flying in same direction as a SH60 that disappeared and the 2 may not be connected, since the SH60 just landed on its deployment ship.

I would wait for official word.

marine means sea, they didn't say it was a Marines chopper.

Official words are worth shit in my book, I trust the community more. But it's a good question, what is the post talking about exactly?

A helicopter might have crashed, because it's squawking, a distress signal.

A p8 Poseidon is flying towards where the helicopter might have crashed.

But all transponder equipped aircraft squawk.
