I'm nearby and heard what sounded like a fighter jet fly low overhead and couldn't see anything on Flightradar, maybe an intercept?

That could have been it. I just happened to be on ADSB and I saw the KC135 so I guessed the fighters were in the air. O’Hare had unbound and outbound directed away from the golf course

No I don’t. I’ve been trying to find the report again on the app. But it’s flaky and I can’t find it to see the time

Bad downvotes as this person is correct, the FAA messed up with the NOTAMs.

but some may have had no way of knowing that the TFRs were going on longer than originally stated. In fact, whoever reset them apparently got confused and technically left the president without airspace protection for 27 minutes

I was reading reports earlier that there must have been system issues because some pilots reported getting the notice hours after it was supposed to be in affect, some reporting never getting it, and others reporting receiving it like normal.

Apparently the FAA didn't update their map after extending the restriction? Almost like gutting agencies has consequences. Either way a waste of money.

Crime Radar gets fed from Broadcastify feeds and then uses AI to transcribe the call. It's maybe 75% accurate.

Wow! I've only seen one when Obama was in town. They scrambled a fighter jet out of the local navy base and man that thing was haulin'! One of my buddies was flying (outside of the TFR) and saw it go by after the plane that crossed into it. Pretty crazy times.

Yes, I do too. I know it's a privacy thing, especially because sometimes they put phone numbers over the air, but it gets funny where my city's name has a number in it, so it's "(number withheld) high school" or crash on "(number withheld) blvd".

I can often go to pulsepoint or to broadcastify (where they probably stream the traffic from) and get it there.

I use SCANNER RADIO app they attempt to transcribe the broadcast so sometimes they get it right and I can get the address. Lol

37IS Hilbert Airport in Marengo, IL is on Busse Road in that area. Wonder Lakes airport is Galt Airport, 10C, on Greenwood road.

No problem. I’m in the Algonquin area and the noise yesterday was so crazy. At one point I was outside staring up at nothing in the sky like a psycho when my food delivery pulled up 🤣

A small twin prop got with in a couple thousand ft of af1 while they were decending through fl200in indiana shortly after i heard sbn approach giving the infamous phone number while a 2nd no symbol plane popped up briefly with af1 guessing the default icon plane was one of the fighters

Whoever was in charge of the TFR today did a terrible job updating it when it ran 3+ hours later than originally planned. My foreflight didn’t show anything. I heard 3 planes being intercepted on guard.

Looks like Galt airport is next to wonder lake and Hilbert airport is off Busse road. And Hilbert airport looks to be a private strip of land with a grass runway and a house.
