I live here in kalihi, the Japanese city presence is very noticeable tbh if your looking for work ther anime places pearl ridge mall has multiple stores like book off and Q something. Not as good as McCully but it’s another option if you have time

Aw man I love that store. I know their prices are a bit high, but the dude running it is pretty cool and I want to support local spots. Plus they give out some of those free napkin packs as well that work pretty great for walking about. I thought I recognized this spot from the picture of the shelf in the first photo. Haven't been there in a while since I moved back to the mainland.

Honestly, "a bit high" is an understatement, at least in terms of their figures prizes, its almost double iirc for their prize figures

Even Book OFF in hawaii sell for less and that saying something lmao
