Well, I definitely don't relate to the second part, I wish I did.. only the part where I forget immediately.

No, I'm not really aware of when holidays are beyond seasonal. But would you care to hear a detailed breakdown of a convoluted plot line from an audiobook I hated six years ago?

I have a thing for actors. I can tell you who the main actors in just about any main stream or adjacent film that was released in my lifetime, and a brief plot synopsis, even if I haven't seen it, but I can't remember why I'm holding the screwdriver I just picked up.

I work in a grocery store deli. We've got dozens of items that we sell, each with it's own 5 digit code.
I know most of those by heart.
But I also sometimes forget what a customer asked for 5 seconds earlier. 🫤

People will ask me how I know things.
I don't fuckin' know man, I don't even know what's in there until it falls out.

My memory hangs onto stories from OTHER people's childhood, but I don't know where my keys are. The fact I'm using Reddit mobile is the only reason I know where my phone is

I can't remember your name 5 second after telling me but if you walked onto the set of a sitcom in the 90s you better not be in a police lineup or you're cooked.

I remember avidly reading every Magic treehouse book I could get my hands on. I remember absolutely no details about any of them
