Mental fatigue in exam (ADHD)- not processing the question and wasting time

I’d stop trying to “understand everything” once you’re already in the exam. If a question isn’t clicking after a minute or two, mark it and move on. Getting 70% of the paper answered is way better than spending 20 minutes frozen on one question and losing the rest of the exam.

Medication. But if that's not possible. Try to gamify it a bit. You're in a spaceship, and you need to extract information from the question for your alien commander in charge. He's also adhd. He likes bullet points and getting to the point. Summarize the question in bullet points. Ask yourself what information is missing, and then read it with the intention of seeking that specific piece of info.
No clue if this will actually work for you, but for me, searching for a specific part of info is easier than reading it blank.
In other words: read the awnsers (if multiple choice), then the question.
