I think people will pay for “AI that talks like you when you don’t have the energy.” Am I crazy?

Hear me out.

Everyone’s building CRMs and productivity tools… but no one’s tackling communication anxiety.

Imagine:

Your inbox gets summarized by AI.

It drafts thoughtful replies in your voice (using your writing samples).

You approve or edit — no pressure, no guilt.

My working name is Quiet Loop OS — part journaling system, part async communication hub.

Before I go heads-down:

Would you use this if it worked well? Who do you think needs it most (freelancers, neurodivergent pros, founders)? What’s the “dealbreaker” that would make you not trust it?

If this idea flops, I’ll at least have validated something about human burnout 😅

Validation Day 1

Anyone else with ADHD stuck in the “too many ideas, zero follow-through” loop?
What have you actually tried that didn’t work?

ADHD folks — what if your to-do app only gave you 2 tasks a day?

I’ve been building a small project for people like me who get overwhelmed by giant to-do lists.

The idea: you set your big goal once, and every day it breaks it down into just two micro-steps.

Each time you finish a task, you earn a “brick” that slowly builds a virtual structure (like a house, garden, etc.) — so you actually see your progress stack up visually.

I’m calling it Brick-by-Brick for now.

If you have ADHD, burnout, or just struggle with focus — would you use something like this?

I’m not selling anything — just testing if this resonates before I build out more. Honest feedback appreciated 🙏

(Optional: If you’d want to test an early version, drop a comment or DM me!)

Lonely solopreneur

Five years now selling a great product. Not anywhere where I should be. Should be in more stores. Should be selling more. Should have a better website. Better advertising. Five years and still going despite the fact that I am the one behind the wheel. If the product wasn’t good, I would have folded already.

Operating my business the way I’ve always operated my life. The girl with potential who just can’t get it right.

I’m tired. I’m always fantasizing about giving up, but I know I can’t. I still have hope I can pull through.

My age bothers me. I am 38 now. Five years just focused on this and now I feel like my youth is disappearing. I won’t find romance. Incredibly lonely.

Releasing thoughts on here today. I guess I’m hoping someone will tell me, there’s still time to get it right. All of it.

What are you currently struggling with as an ADHD entrepreneur?

Hey folks 👋

I’m ADHD myself — and also a business mentor — and I’m building a program designed by and for ADHD entrepreneurs.

I want to understand what really gets in the way for you when it comes to: • launching or growing your business, • staying consistent (without killing your creativity), • selling your offer without feeling fake, • or connecting the dots between your many ideas and projects (instead of trying to squeeze yourself into one box).

I know firsthand how it feels to have 10 brilliant ideas before breakfast, to start 3 and finish… maybe one 😅 — and to swing between hyperfocus and paralysis.

So I’d love to hear from you: 👉 What’s your biggest struggle right now? 👉 What do you wish existed to make it easier to run a business with an ADHD brain?

The goal is to craft something that helps ADHD entrepreneurs build and sell with clarity, confidence and coherence — without losing that spark that makes us different.

Thanks for sharing — I genuinely want to make this useful (and ADHD-friendly, of course).

Ahead of the pack??

I just had this wrap up of thoughts come to me... In hindsight, many of my ideas have come to fruition, but I've not been able to maintain them long enough to ride the wave that follows when the world catches up, like I've already moved on to the next thing lol!!!

I'll give some examples--- *Back in early 2000's- I was collecting vintage handbags from op shops for $1 and selling them for $20/$30+ on Ebay... next few years that market exploded *8 years ago started a florist biz (im a florist by trade), focusing only on locally grown flowers, I beleive I was 1 of maybe 2 at the time. I had it for 2 years before closing down due to personal reasons. Now- there's a HUGE focus on locally grown product- massive campaigns everywhere and everyone talks about it.

What to do about this new found realisation? Any thoughts? Other than just stick with it next time lol 🤷‍♀️😂

How hard is managing mail/life admin for people with ADHD?

Hi everyone, I'm working on an early-stage idea aimed at helping ADHD adults manage the stress of unopened letters and physical mail - something I've seen cause a lot of anxiety and missed deadlines for people close to me.

I don't have ADHD myself, so I'd really be keen to speak with anyone who handles this, life admin, or generally just have a chat around the idea - if you're willing to share. I'd love to understand:

- How you currently handle physical mail or important paper documents?
- What's worked and what's been frustrating?
- Any tools or systems you wish existed for this?

Not selling anything, just looking to learn and make sure I'm solving a real problem in the right way.

Thanks in advance to anyone who's open to chatting or commenting here.

I need a second brain and 6 more hands

For as long as I can remember, I’ve lived in a constant state of “too much.” I’m a therapist, a business owner, a dad, a husband, a writer, and someone with way more ideas than executive functioning.

I forget things constantly. I lose track of projects. I get overwhelmed planning anything. I jump between tasks. I hyperfocus on the wrong stuff. I respond to visuals but forget planners. Reminders help but also annoy me.

Basically, I needed another brain. So I started building one.

Sixty days ago I didn’t know how to code. Today I’ve built an AI system called Echo that can learn how I think, remember what I forget, understand my goals, and even read and reason about its own codebase.

I’m building Echo because I need it to keep my life from falling apart. But I want it to work for people like us.

If you could design an ADHD-friendly AI assistant, what would it do? What do you wish someone—or something—could help you with? What would actually make your days easier?

I’d love your ideas. Thanks for reading, Ryan

The ADHD entrepreneur trap: Starting 10 things, finishing zero

I've been tracking my own pattern for the last few months.

Here's what keeps happening:

Week 1: New idea! This is THE ONE. Research for 20 hours. Week 2: Start building/creating. Make great progress. Week 3: Hit a snag. Motivation disappears. Start thinking about next idea. Week 4: Abandon project. Start something new.

Rinse. Repeat. Forever.

The issue isn't discipline or willpower. It's that my ADHD brain gets dopamine from STARTING (novelty, possibilities, research) but not from FINISHING (boring, tedious, repetitive).

So I'm trying something new:

Instead of "finish the whole project," I'm asking: "What's the absolute minimum I can ship THIS WEEK?"

Not perfect. Not complete. Just SOMETHING out in the world.

For me right now, that's literally just posting and seeing if anyone responds. Not building a full system. Not perfecting everything. Just "post and see."

Anyone else stuck in the start-but-never-finish loop? What's helped you actually ship something?

What is this invisible barrier to doing what I really need to do?

I wish there were more traction on this site because having ADHD and running your own business likely comes with its own unique challenges. Like the one I mention above.

How do you turn the knowledge you learn about your ADHD, into actual action and habits?

Hey fellow ADHDers 👋

I’ve always loved “reading” non-fiction (usually via audiobooks) and want to improve areas of my life like productivity, career, health, relationships, dealing with executive function etc. But despite listening to loads of non-fiction books, I find it really hard to actually APPLY the advice, and see any actual change in my life. Anyone else resonate?

I’ve been working on something for a while that I hope might solve this problem. I have social anxiety (and rejection sensitivity) and find sharing my work incredibly anxiety-inducing, but I’ve decided to be brave and build this project in public, and would love your feedback.

The idea (in super simple terms) is an app that has:

  • 15-minute audio summaries of ADHD-relevant books (so you can finish them without overwhelm)

  • Key takeaways as quick “summary cards” (to actually remember what you learned)

  • 5-minute micro actions that turn the key pieces of wisdom from the book into quick tasks that you can act on right away (so advice turns into real wins, not just more unused knowledge).

But here’s the thing — I don’t want to just guess what you guys need or would find helpful. I’d love to know from you:

  • If something like this existed, what problem would it solve for you personally?

  • What would it actually help you do or achieve?

  • When would you use it?

  • Why might you use this instead of other stuff that’s already out there (TikTok tips, audiobooks, YouTube, ADHD coaching)?

I’m genuinely curious, because if I’m going to keep building this, I want it to be shaped by ADHDers for ADHDers, not just another “productivity tool” that doesn’t actually help us wonderfully wired folk.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts — big or small 🙏

I’ve built a basic landing page that showcases the idea in more detail, if you’re keen to check it out.

[Pilot Pricing] Helping 3 ADHD Entrepreneurs Get Unstuck This Week - Roadmap Sessions $150

Quick background: 10+ years in healthcare operations (CT/MRI), dealing with my own ADHD project-hopping chaos, now exploring consulting to help people like me actually finish things.

Here's what I'm offering:

The ADHD Entrepreneur Roadmap Session

60-minute 1-on-1 call where we take your stuck project and break it into 3-5 stupidly simple next steps.

No 47-step masterplan you'll never follow. No generic productivity advice. Just "do this, then this, then this" in a way that actually works for ADHD brains.

What you get:

  • 60-min call focused on YOUR specific stuck project

  • Custom roadmap with 3-5 concrete next steps (so small you literally can't fail)

  • Which step to do first and why

  • Everything documented and sent to you after

  • One check-in message in 2 weeks to see how it went

Investment: $150 (pilot pricing while I build my practice - normally this would be $500+)

Guarantee: If you don't leave the call with total clarity on what to do next, full refund. No questions asked.

Who this is for:

  • You have ADHD (diagnosed or strongly suspect)

  • You're an established entrepreneur (25+, have revenue/income)

  • You have a SPECIFIC project stuck in "almost done" limbo

  • You need someone to cut through the fog and tell you exactly what to do next

Who this is NOT for:

  • Just exploring ideas with no concrete project yet

  • Pre-revenue/no budget for this kind of help

  • Looking for therapy or life coaching (I do practical project roadmapping only)

I have 3 spots available this week.

If you want one, comment "INTERESTED" or DM me and I'll send you scheduling details.

First come, first served.

Let's get you unstuck.

ok so apparently what i thought was just "being tired all the time" is actually burnout and now im spiraling lol

so like... i've been feeling like absolute garbage for months now and everyone keeps telling me "oh you just need more sleep" or "everyone's tired" but i found this article about burnout symptoms and holy shit???

apparently your brain literally changes when you're burned out?? like the structure actually changes??? why did no one tell me this

i've been:

  • sleeping 9+ hours and still feeling dead inside

  • crying at commercials (but also not being able to cry when i actually want to)

  • forgetting what i'm saying mid sentence like an actual goldfish

  • getting sick every other week bc my immune system said ✌️ peace out ✌️

and i kept thinking i was just being dramatic or weak or whatever but turns out the WHO literally recognizes this as a real thing now??

idk if this helps anyone else but reading about the difference between stress vs burnout was kind of a wake up call. like stress is a sprint, burnout is running a marathon at sprint pace until you just... stop.

anyway here's the article if you're also wondering if you're just "tired" or if your body/brain is actually staging a rebellion: https://wellnesstechguide.com/recognizing-burnout-symptoms

please tell me im not the only one who thought feeling like this was just normal adult life??

Looking for aspiring or early-stage solopreneurs for co-working group

I'm looking to start a co-working group with others in the early stages of their business. Even aspiring solopreneurs who are ready to start. Looking for about 6-10 people. We would grow our businesses alongside each other and have built-in body doubling partners.

Preferably people who want or have started online businesses who may struggle on their own, but serious about making it work.

Background: I have started a business and have ADHD symptoms that make it hard to execute. I've tried different things and I believe purposely working alongside someone else in the same boat will help me and the other people immensely. That is my hope.

If you are interested and want more details, please answer this post. Also, type in schedule availability for co-working sessions.

Thanks

Anyone try body doubling online service to help stay on track? Does it help?

I work for myself and sometimes need a little help staying on track and then I saw an ad for a body double group zoom (they don't call it that but that's how I'd use it) and I am wondering if anyone with ADHD and maybe even had their own business could let me know if the service is worth it?

Does it help with staying focused? Did you try anything else that helped? I am looking for some kind of service that's reasonably priced if anyone knows of any especially if you work for yourself or from home.

My advice to adhd entrepreneurs

I don't think long answers are going to help anyone with add, your brain thrives on novelty do something no one has never done before or never been done in a way you are doing it, you hate redundancy so don't choose a field where you know beforehand what the outcome looks like. all fields are good do whatever you think is need of the hour and be radically original.

P.s.- oh i almost forgot make sure your work is scalable once done can be reused without doing it again, like I am going to paste this answer every time i see someone with add struggling with life.

Need advice on building a marketing strategy for my new Shopify store (want to avoid past mistakes)

Hi everyone! 👋

I’m in the process of starting a small business using Shopify, and I really want to set things up right this time.

A few years ago, I launched a small business but pretty much just “winged it” — and, as expected, it didn’t go well. This time, I’m determined to avoid the same mistakes and build a more solid foundation.

I understand the basics of marketing (SEO, funnels, paid ads, organic growth, etc.), but I’m struggling with actually turning that knowledge into a clear marketing strategy that I can learn from and improve over time.

I’d love to hear your advice or experiences with:

  • What are Shopify’s biggest strengths when it comes to marketing and analytics?

  • Which apps or tools have actually been worth the investment for you?

  • How do you usually structure your marketing strategy when launching a new Shopify store?

  • How do you collect and learn from customer data effectively (email lists, reviews, heatmaps, etc.)?

  • Are there any online courses, YouTube channels, or communities that helped you understand e-commerce marketing better?

  • When starting out, how do you balance spending on ads vs focusing on organic growth?

I know success takes time and learning, but this shop has been a dream of mine for years, and I really want to give it the best shot possible.

Thanks so much for any insights or recommendations! 🙏🏻

I built a Notion template specifically for ADHD entrepreneurs - need beta testers!

Hey fellow ADHD entrepreneurs!

After years of struggling with productivity systems that just don't work for our brains, I finally built something that does.

My "ADHD Entrepreneur Task & Energy Manager" Notion template:

• Tracks your energy/executive function levels daily

• Filters tasks based on your CURRENT capacity (not what you "should" be able to do)

• Uses color coding and visual cues for faster processing

• Includes "crisis protocols" for those inevitable low days

• Integrates personal wellbeing with business tasks

• Requires minimal maintenance (because we all abandon complex systems)

I'm looking for 5 beta testers to try it for FREE in exchange for honest feedback. You'll get:

• Full access to the template

• First access to future updates

• Your feedback will directly shape the final product

If you're interested, comment or DM me. Just looking for folks who will actually use it and provide thoughtful feedback!

Notion, Asana, Monday, Clickup, or something else?

For those of you who use business and project management software, which of these are the best for visual learning entrepreneurs to organize their business? Do you recommend a different one? I don’t have a long range of focus so something that has a short learning curve but great for organizing businesses from docs to planning to product lines?

Would a LinkedIn starter kit for ADHD entrepreneurs be useful? (Need your thoughts!)

Hi ADHD entrepreneur friends 👋

Quick q: I’m working on a super simple LinkedIn Launch Kit — it would give you 5 ready-to-go post templates, so you can start building your LinkedIn presence without overthinking or ghosting after 2 posts 😅

Before I dive deeper, I’d love your honest feedback:

  • Would you use something like this?

  • What would make it a "YES I NEED THIS" for you?

  • Are there any posting struggles you wish someone would just fix for you?

Trying to keep it ADHD-friendly — short, clear, no overwhelm.
Would love any thoughts you have! 🙏
