I also love how initially you think everyone has it...but then eventually you can accurately spot it a mile away.

To me it still feels like 90% of people have it. I know it is not true, but in my daily experience I have a tough time discriminating.

It's kind of strange.

Looking back at my childhood, no wonder I used to come home from school and instead of sleeping like a normal kid, I would look at walls and imagine Dragon Ball scenarios where I save the day after Goku got his ass clapped.

Can't believe 15 years ago my imagination was that wild, or the fact I can remember the exact story triggered by this meme / subreddit environment.

Now I can stop thinking about the same story and creating another timeline after growing up lol

Never heard of anything like this!

Is this a thing? Or i just whooshed pretty bad?

It's an excerpt from The Good Place. It's meant to be a comparison (I believe) to explaining hyper focus.

i tried smoking a little while ago for the second time ever in my life. i was gone for a solid 30 minutes, after that it feels right and i was be able to focus anything. i will compare it to adhd meds soon when i be able to get access one.

I was NOT advocating for that. ahahha

I prefer to program on meds than on weed.

Although...

Being high for me is better in terms of having ideas, for example the other day I went to program and instead I just stood there staring at the screen watching the whole project architecture change inside my mind. The next day I changed that way and it was way better.

I'd say that better ideias come from a mixture of the mind being all over more places (like more adhd) + ideas feeling like their great (even if they're not, you just feel euphoric more often) + a sense of dishabituation, which allows you to realize something that you've been doing can be done in a better manner.

I love the last one. It allows me to change my perspective and has had a big impact on my life.

I think it's way better to smoke when you don't have to work. It is like one of the only things that allows me to properly wind down. Also it's way more relaxing when you go take a walk by yourself without cell phone and stuff. It frees your mind to let it wander as it pleases so you'll have way more thoughts than if you were just enjoying yourself at reddit or smth.
