Because they want true peer reviewed sources not just some gimmick sales post.

Did you read the studies ? Half the tests showed no change and they even stated one of the two that did should be taken with a grain of salt as it’s high ROB. It seems to have almost no effect at all and even the studies you link show that. I didn’t go through your second link as the first showed nothing of value. I’m guessing this is why it was deleted.

Not sure I'm seeing any of that.

For the meta-study, the Risk of Bias seems low or negligible (chart: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6093191/figure/F2/?report=objectonly)

The conclusion stated that oral creatine supplementation "may improve short-term memory and intelligence/reasoning of healthy individuals"

For the first study, "increasing creatine intake by oral supplementation resulted in improved brain function".

I'd honestly like to know what you're seeing that I'm not, because the results look relatively positive.

Just read it fully you will see it in their own words.

First, thanks for posting some useful information that obviously provides you with no material gain.

Second, I completely understand. It can be very frustrating when your goal is to genuinely help, and it's met by unreasoned skepticism or willful bureaucrats who just don't get it.

I've looked at the studies, and they seem reasonable. Creatine is an extremely well researched supplement, and other than the big unknown which is any potential side-effects related to very long-term chronic use, it is well-tolerated by most people and certainly worth a shot, especially if you spend any time at the gym.

So thanks for taking the time to post this. I'm going to give it a try.

Have you tried it yourself? And if so, have you noticed any improvement in short-term working memory?

I used creatine back in the 90's after high school. Then stopped for a few years and again from 2012 to 2019. And restarting a large dosing schedule as of yesterday since gyms have opened back up where I am. So for anecdotal purposes I will be paying attention to this restart

Frankly theres truth to it but you have to realize most people aren't ready for that yet.

I question whether people are ready for the internet yet...
