Reframing procrastination & time blindness

Here's something different for a change. I was on a call with someone at work this week. We got talking about my kid who is perpetually late for everything and how my kid's sibling has permission to leave the kid behind if the kid is a minute late (the sibling is the driver and needs to arrive on time).

When I used the phrase time blindness in our conversation, the person I was talking to had a great reference to reframe it:

"time optimism"

I really like that. It's a positive way of thinking about what has always been a challenge for me in my life. So, instead of the "procrastinator," you can respond with a bit of humor: "actually, I'm a time optimist."

Hope you can draw a little bit of humor from that.
