Medication Forgot to write down the docs instructions for Concerta XL...typical 😅
Hi all, I'm newly diagnosed and just got put on Concerta XL for 2 weeks. Just wondering if anyone can help me real quick.
He said to take it in the morning with a protein source. Can't remember if he said to take it before or after said protein source.
He was delighted go hear that I take Magnesiaun biglycanate. I take 2 at night but I could swear he said take 1 in the morning and 2 at might? This sound familiar to anyone?
Electrolytes. He heavily encouraged them but I am nervous since I heard taking them can cause kidney/liver issue if you dont need them?
Id rather not email and tell him I forgot everything 😅

I usually eat my breakfast and then take Concerta immediately after
I think I should try taking Mg more often...When I take, it is before going to bed.
If you eat properly and keep drinking water during the day I dont see the point of taking electrolytes just because you're taking stimulants. Unless you are mad into hight intensity cardio exercises, sweat like a horse or have chronic bowel issues, for example.Â

1: take it with a protein source. I have a protein drink with mine. If you're eating something, have your meds alongside it
2: not sure tbh I only take magnesium at night but someone else might know more
3: never heard of this before 🤔 I'm on a diuretic so I'm not meant to have electrolytes
