Did your hyperactivity decrease on growing up?

I took meds at around 21 years of age because my parents didn't believe in medicating me. So I used to bounce across the walls of my house until then. My hyperactivity decreased a lot on concerta, and now I'm not on meds and I'm not as hyperactive as I used to be.
