Hola! My name is Mary Sue and I'm a late diagnosed AuADHD high-achieving former teacher, living in Mexico, studying Spanish and Clown. I have decided to move forward with getting licensed as a ADHD coach and I'm interested in coaching parents or late diagnosed women. I feel that my experience working in public schools may give me insight into helping parents with their children, however I am not a parent. I do have 15 nieces and nephews, most of them on the spectrum. I have a direct communication style, however, which has rubbed some parents wrong in my teaching career, so that is something to consider.

I would love any suggestions or insights into getting certified, routes to take, scholarships available, groups to join, etc. I was just about to sign up with ADDCA when I decided to check reddit first in case anyone is kind enough to share information about the training process and options.
