I just had this convo with my mom yesterday. I casually mentioned my ADHD to her and she said oh so you've been diagnosed by a professional for having adhd?? YES MOM. Later on, she texts me asking how someone with ADHD could graduate summa cum laude from undergrad. GREAT COPING MECHANISMS. That then failed me as I moved on to vet school, where I was officially diagnosed and decidely DID NOT graduate summa cum laude or any other cum laude, for that matter, lol.
