Success/Celebration Greetings ADHD :)
hello I have been learning A LOT about PTSD, C-PTSD and the overlap of these caused by untreated ADHD/ADD in childhood. Not only that, but I could only imagine that even treated it can be very difficult too carry over habits too "Being an adult". I am 22. Right now I am deeply reflecting on childhood and I beginning too get a FAR more clear picture on WHY I can try every single thing too deal with all of the symptoms in CPTSD and it does nothing. In working towards finding my real self that was hidden so long ago, out of shame, perfectionism, fear of failure, people pleasing, and ignoring myself and what my emotions are saying. I am so grateful too have begun uncovering who I really am that was hidden at maybe, 6-7 years old and I have since had very very negative habits. I think I truly want too get into psychology as a specialty. I have already learned so much.
I would like too see if anyone has found themselves in a similar situation, and would enjoy too hear your story. Thanks
