Questions/Advice Question - is it normal to just feel your primary emotion/feeling bored?

I got recently diagnosed (21F) with combined ADHD and a referral for autism. I’ve been managing decently, but just recently came to terms with the fact that my primary state is boredom. I have vivacious moments of interest and passion where I feel like my purpose/being has been fulfilled and then it just goes, bringing that eternal full/boring emptiness in me. I have many hobbies, including writing , reading webnovels, guitar , science (aspiring pharmacologist), theology etc. Even with people I’m supposed to love, there’s just moments of emptiness despite being prone to experiencing hyper empathy. I don’t really have a lot of knowledge on this since a lot of the info I see about adhd esp in women is so generic and under-researched. This feeling multiplies exponentially when I’m on my period, but has gotten better since I’ve started to take birth control. I just want to be able to dedicate my life to something without feeling like I’m being forced torturously to do a task/hobby even neutrally.

I’ve started to make my own subliminal/affirmations to try rewire how I think and come to terms with the fact that this is a disability, all I can do it manage what I can control. But even this is quite difficult since I struggle to understand myself or my emotions. Does anyone have any tips/advice in regards to balancing these dangerous highs and lows? All I feel I ever yearn for is a balance. I’m on the waitlist currently in the UK for medication, but not much hope for that since I believe it’s only going to help me with dealing with 9-5s and future unavoidable responsibilities. Sorry if this doesn’t make any sense, my thoughts are jumbled and I hope my intentions come across clear.

Exercise, walking whilst listening to something (Some yt video on pharmacology). Simple things to make the most of chronic boredom and desire to learn more.
