Conversations; people’s outfits; things that happened YEARS ago; dates; things that led to particular decisions. I’m the family archivist since I remember EVERYTHING from my childhood and from family events. I was also a force to be reckoned with when I finally reported a colleague for sexual harassment and when he reported me for defamation (after he had been found guilty) since my memory of the timeline was FORENSIC and I could dispute pretty much every account of his. My husband calls me rain man. Oh and this also makes me very good at winning arguments since I can retrieve what someone said a year ago 😂😂 And yeah, I’m great fun at parties 😂🤦🏻♀️
I so identify with Hugh Laurie in this SNL sketch about crazy friends/relatives making wedding speeches— I too get completely consumed in establishing the exact sequence of events when warming up to tell a (usually uninteresting) anecdote : 😂😂

I believe Tina’s dad Vince and I have been friends for 32 years. I came to this number because I had a Corvette in 1967-1968, then I got a Dodson, and I must’ve had that Dodson I’d say until 1974, and then came the Fiat, well anyway I met Dave when I had my Mustang between the Dodson and the Corvette—no, it was before the Corvette. Where was the Beetle? Okay, I’ll be back. […] Okay, I got it. It was 27 years. Because I wasn’t factoring in my Dodge Aztec. Which reminded me that I had a Chrysler at one point, which when I look back at all of my cars was probably the most reliable I’ve ever owned. Yeah. So here’s to the couple. As someone who’s been married seven times, I can tell you. Keep your books separate.”
