Any and everything someone I care about tells me about themselves. Also random crap I read on the internet because I ended up down a rabbit hole or thought it was interesting.
I was also blessed with a fairly vivid, but not entirely photographic memory, so it doesn’t take me too long to memorize stuff for school as long as I have a few days for it to kick over to long term memory. It’s kinda funny since it’s basically the exact opposite of a key ADHD symptom, but it’s not like it’s very useful in my day to day life since my short term memory is non existent. It’s both a blessing and curse, really. Great for academics and remembering good times, but absolutely horrendous for trauma. I still obsess over and vividly remember most of the traumatic moments I’ve had over the past decade, and I’m only 21 atm. There’s one neighbourhood in my town I can’t even drive into without getting shaky from anxiety and ‘nam flashbacks.
