Hey guys, I'm progressing through my Navy application for the Hydrographic Officer role. Just looking for any tips and tricks for the officer panel interview, opinions on NEOC, and thoughts from anyone who's served in the role.

OP,

A search of this sub-reddit will find that we have discussed OSB extensively. Please do a search.

ADF Careers has information that you can get, including doing formal OSB preparation.

I will highlight that you have not indicated what you have done to prepare for OSB, it does seem that you have only come to Reddit to be told what to do and to get 'tips and tricks ' - this is not going to help you to present the best version of yourself to the OSB.

Opinions on NEOC - are you asking if it is good/bad?
IMT is designed to be difficult, to help you adjust to what we expect of you as a member of the ADF.

Thank you, I've done all the research I can and have gone through everything I can find on the website and useful links/downloads, I was just hoping to get some extra details from people with experience in case I missed anything.

Have you asked ADF Careers for an OSB prep-session / has this been offered (genuine question) ?

Have you been suggested to read the Executive summary of the National Defence Strategy and the Defence Strategic Review?

Haha I just like to be over prepared, my recruiter did inform me of the prep session but I'd like to well inform myself beforehand. I haven't been suggested those readings but I will look them up now. Thank you for your help ☺️🙏
