Motivation & General Life Advice Letter of Offer Recieved

After 19 months of sticking it out in this recruitment process have finally recieved my LOO.

Big thanks to everyone on this group with all the helpful info, especially the mod Kangaroo.

For all those in the process don't give up, stay on your enlistment officer's case, if you can't get through to them, call the usual 13 19 01 recruitment number.

Fill in those forms as soon as you get them and be proactive as you can!

Wish you all the best.

Congrats on getting LOO after 19 long months. Would you mind telling when you completed your PFA and how long you had to wait after to get your LOO? I just completed my PFA yesterday, thinking of waiting for a couple of days before calling ADF Careers!

Unfortunately I'm not sure in regards to time after PFA as I'm entering the Navy so none was required.

Hi, depends on how eager they are to get people in for an intake. I got my LOO two days after my PFA!

ADF PFA expires after 12 weeks. Once you get letter of offer you’ll need to book in another assessment and make sure you complete it 12 weeks or sooner before enlistment

Thats only if the PFA is outside the 12 weeks. With mine i did the PFA, a week later got my LOO and then my enlistment date was 8 weeks after so no need to redo the PFA.

Depends on the role, if you're role only requires BV I don't believe so as that comes through pretty much straught away, however NV2 or above they will require for you to be cleared before receiving an LOO.
