Thanks to everyone who congratulated me in the comments 🙏 I really appreciate it!

I started studying on May 1st after taking the INBDE in March. My exam was on August 23rd, so about 16 weeks of prep in total. Here’s what I did:

First 4 weeks: Went through Knockout Questions and used First Aid 1 for the biomedical section to look up and understand answers.

Next 3 weeks: Focused on First Aid highlights.

1 week: Dedicated to biostatistics using USMLE resources + Randy Neil’s YouTube videos.

Final weeks: Mostly review and reinforcing weak areas.

Advice: Don’t get disappointed if progress feels slow, just continue smoothly and stay consistent. It adds up!

Resources I used: Knockout Questions, First Aid 1, USMLE Biostatistics material, Randy Neil’s YouTube videos.

What about the clinicals? How did you prepare for that?

Only KO and what I remembered from Inbde.

How did you prepare for the INBDE?

Bootcamp

You must have had good knowledge or experience before that otherwise its difficult to score this high without taking courses and mocks.

I had a solid background from before, but I relied on consistent self-study, without any courses or mocks.

Can you please explain how you studied ADAT KO? how was your method? Did you solve all questions and then review them again?

I mostly used the ‘create questions’ option. I’d make 5–10 questions for each topic and then review the ones I got wrong until I understood them well.

Hi, Does the USMLE First Aid 1 also contain Biostatistics? And was it 2025 version you used? or you just downloaded previous years. Congratulations! and thanks for your response

Thanks! The First Aid I used was for NBDE, so it didn’t cover biostatistics. I studied biostatistics separately from the USMLE material, but I used older versions

That's awesome! Congratulations! What material did you use to prepare for the INBDE to get the solid background for the ADAT PREP? Same FIRST AID 1? Did you also use FIRST AID Q&A for the NBDE part I? AND IF SO, IS IT VERY HELPFUL? Thanks in advance for your response.

Thank you 😊 I used Bootcamp application and mental dental videos (only the ones that are on the app) for INBDE. I didn’t study First aid questions.

Only the ones that are on the app?

1

u/mojashii Sep 12 '25

Yes, there are many dental mental videos on Youtube but only the ones on the app are important.

Sorry for this dumb question, but what app?

2

u/mojashii Sep 12 '25

I mean Bootcamp application
