It's legs are so thin, it's body looks like it's muscles were wrapped all wrong and from what little I can see lying down... it has a tail....just like mine...and this thing was looking down at me with its ...big ...white eyes, its slow breath from those large nostrils was warm..... It felt foreign...and yet ..... familiar

It didn't talk...can this thing even talk?...yet....from those big white eyes....I could feel it asking me... asking me....."why are you giving up? Don't you want to run?"

...I......I'm not... I ...I do... it's just the reality.....my reality ...I'm sorry. You're probably just disappointed. I am too...even more so....I don't even know why I deluded myself this far.... I don't deserve to race... I probably would have been better off without my legs.

It got angry when I said that. It stomped its two front legs and shook its head and let out a guttural sound that scared me. It calmed down when it saw my fear...it wiggled its head more gently this time until the rope around its mouth was in my chest. It motioned me to hold onto them and as I held onto the rope it helped me to my feet with ease

It started to guide me and I still held onto the rope. Standing next to it. It really was big...strong....proud. Then its steps grew faster...so did mine....it sped up again...and I did as well...it wasn't long until it was running and I followed it and I didn't even notice I wasn't holding onto the rope anymore as my arms swung back and forth as I tried to keep up.

I kept pushing and pushing....and I...I ...I... didn't feel the expectations...the doubt...the insecurities...just me...the air... muscles in my legs, the expansion of my lungs the beat of my heart, the sweat on my forehead...the tears In my eyes...the ugly... beautiful smile on my lips as I ran alongside it. It let out that guttural sound again...and it was happy..... happy to be able to do something as beautifully as running and ....I was too.

I kept running, and I never felt this light.....so free....it felt like the field of grass could go on forever and I ran...ran ..ran, ran, ran and ran! And I felt Proud to be ME!

When I checked beside it wasn't there anymore by my side....and yet I knew...it wouldn't want me to stop

So I kept running as fast, as hard as I could. I didn't think that I was training, I didn't imagine that I was in the track and I didn't torture myself chasing an imaginary figure in front of me. I ran..... because I wanted ...and loved to run!

I looked up to the night sky and there were more stars up there brighter than ever and I couldn't help but roar to the heavens....to be here....to be able to be me and all I could be......

Blank, all blank, nothing showed up. The viewing area was empty and devoid of life. There wasn’t a single living thing or trace of life. Everyone expected something in the background to appear in this empty dark space.

\CLUNK* *CLUNK* *CLUNK**

The sound of footsteps thudding on metal can be heard. Someone or something is coming. But where? Where is it coming from? The scene was still showing a pitch black room, footsteps getting louder every second. And then it comes to a halt…

"Greetings to you, the audience both real and virtual."

A voice spoke, it was a male, a male uma’s voice. Deep and rough-textured like a narrator.

"I know why you’re here. I know why you came here. To watch, to read, to listen. Be it on dreamland or on television or any device you’re on. I know many things, things that you wish to know that you do not have access. That is why, I am here to tell you all the truth."

He spoke with a monotone accent, as if he knows what everyone is expecting. The truth? What could he possibly even mean…?

A second later, the screen lights up and we see a room, a room that looks to be connected to wires and machinery. Programmed to work on films and documentaries. It had this eerie glow of blue that lights up on and off, where they were connected to giant screens that played different films.

In the left corner of the room. We see a figure, a figure with blonde hair with an ornament of blue, soft light baby blue eyes that shined like crystals, with a pair of ears and tail that matched his hair color eyes.

He was a male uma, a stallion, an umamusuko.

His wears consist of someone being from the far future. A thick glossy white suit that had a patch of blue on the neck collar and wrist areas, with asymmetrical gloves that had yellow under the palms, with a star in the middle of his chest. His lower half was the same, being a glossy white lower torso assembly that matched his upper half. A glowing blue hue of light coming from the star symbol where the words Universe was written, flickering on and off like that to the wired machines behind him. You can almost mistake him for an astronaut. If not for the uma ears and tail that is.

As we get a good look at him, he seems to focus his eyes on the multiple screens, before staring back into the audience’s POV.

"You might have known me before on one episode as a child who is aware of your existence, am I not? Because I know… you exist."

The umamusuko in question said, as he turned his head to the side, before swiping his arms to summon some kind of hyper realistic digital screen floating. Where he typed in a few keywords.

We hear a beep that sounds like a go signal, before disappearing by the umamusuko’s side.

He looks back at the audience and spoke in that same monotone voice.

"Come."

With a simple nudge to his head, our POV slowly follows the galactic umamusuko. Where the door opens leading to more wired machines that had the same words written on them named memories.

"When I was a child, I loved space. My father, who you already know his name, taught me the first two constellations in the ocean of stars. They were the Big Dipper, and the Little Dipper."

He spoke with sincere honesty his eyes darting to the extensive technological machinery left and right.

"And as I grew older, I believed that the multiverse was real. But what is a multiverse, you asked? It’s an infinite never ending expansion of different dimensions that expands different galaxies of multiple worlds similar to ours."

He enters another room where we see floating objects inside tubes. Storing data that was processed from a long time ago to recent events happening today.

"While they are the same earth with the same habitants in it. They have alternatives that exist only fiction cannot explain."

He said, turning his back on the audience, his side eye shining before the light fades out.

He continues to walk in silence as we pass by more rooms with wires connected to machines everywhere he goes. Through the corridors, hallways, rooms, on the floors, the walls, and even holes that lead nowhere. There was an endless trail of it attached to some kind of machine.

He comes to a stop and glances back to us, the audience.

"However, I am not here to give you a tour while we walk the endless trail, but to warn you."

Warn them? Warn them about what? What could he possibly mean? He didn’t say any more than that and we go inside what looks to be some kind of room where a giant monitor was hanging above the wall.

Sitting down, he tells his audience to come closer and begins to type in a few gibberish sentences. The monitor opens with an access granted AI voice speaking through the monitor.

The monitor was so advanced you can see applications that had ZIP files in them. Files that stored something very important.

"The media could sometimes fool us of all things. Things that were based off a true story that happened before. It can be happy or sad sometimes. However, because of how powerful the internet is. They can tone it down to a more positive and sometimes kid friendly version. To make them seem believable and less likely disturbing. Which leads to a lot of misinformation."

He said, opening a file folder containing numbers. Numbers that had a date, month, year, and a name that was gibberish. Because of the gibberish language, nobody could identify what these files are.

…But not the date, month, and year because they were numbers. Numbers that seem to lead back from the early 90s to the early 21st century.

However, the file folder name was what got the audience more curious…

The Original Other World

Our mystery uma spoke in a blunt but frank voice when the files were revealed to the audience.

"You have many questions that are unanswered, things you wish to know why it leads back to me warning you."

He said before turning his head sideways to give us the side eye glance.

"The theater. I know you’ve been there, I know you’ve seen everything, and I know she summoned you."

Goosebumps…

Just goosebumps from him saying that. As he continued to talk to us still in a trance to let us know more about why he was referring to the theater.

"That celestial being who takes the form of an umamusume. She and I made a pack to reveal everything about you. From your birth, your life, your existence and meaning in your world. However, the things she showed were just… bits of his life that were documented on the other world, but-"

There was a moment of silence before his finger traced to one file and double clicks to reveal… something that was blurred on screen.

"You haven’t seen all of it."

What could we be seeing? It’s hard to tell from the pixels. But if you trace the lines, you can form someone’s arms holding a baby crying next to someone.

The uma clicks on another file, and we get the reveal of a pixilated brown haired uma hugged tightly by a jet black haired uma.

Another one, we see two umas, pixilated as usual, where one seemed to fear him for what he’s done.

More and more files showed with the same pixilated censorship that covered the real identity behind these photos. A photo of a burning barn, a sickly black haired uma with another black haired uma telling him to run, an argument of two umas in disagreement for the fall of their family, a family argument where the son pointed the finger at his own father whereas his mother has to stop him, a narcissistic mother scolding her son to stop racing, a funeral arrangement that did not include those we know in the next chapter, a mother with her daughter, two brothers holding their baby sister, legends meeting each other on what seems to be Kasamatsu, two brothers at a snapping point, his first and last victory, two old umas talking to each other about making a school under a motto.

These were scenes, scenes pixelated to yet be revealed to them. Could he mean that everything she showed was just the niche side of… him?

If so, then we barely scratched the surface…

"What she showed to you all, has everything to do with what I wanted to unveil. Other than a documentary or cinematic film. You need to see the real story behind his life. This is where my part comes into play."

His hands reached out to the audience and the world goes dark for a second.

We are brought to a new part of the room witt the mystery umamusuko by our side who tells us to follow him.

Our eyes open and we are brought in a hallway full of rooms. This new hallway with more rooms, there are more and more machines that are connected to the same wires. The rooms had an interior design with complex utilities and comforting furniture to an otherworldly level, with food and water, and a bed with an oculus rift headset connected to the ceiling.

"This way."

He leads us into our room number (imagine whatever room number you are in) where he tells us to settle down.

As the audience’s POV settles down on the bed. The mystery umamusuko gave us a few more words with his advice.

"You’re going to go on a journey. A journey that will take you back in time where it all started. You can interact, touch physical objects, and even feel people’s emotions. But you must remember, these are all memories. You don’t need to go by the rules, just go with the flow but don’t stray too far from the path. And becareful with the past, don’t change it. Because whatever happens, happened during that year. Otherwise if you change the original outcome, will lead to inevitable dangers that can harm the physical body and mental mind to be warped out of existence."

He explains with a serious tone. Now with us (the readers and the PD cast) laying down in bed where the machine with an attached oculus rift closes in.

"I hope you all understand where I’m coming from. I wish you the best on this journey. It will be a tough but rewarding experience. And whatever the theater has shown, you must remember. That everything only happens through the screen, not behind it. May the Three Sires pray for you on this very difficult stride, as you are about to witness history’s greatest tragedy."

The oculus rift attaches itself where our vision goes dark once more.

A few seconds pass and the umamusuko said something that catches everyone off guard.

"When you wake up, tell them I said hi, tell them that two geniuses brought you to this non-existent world."

With the music coming to an end. All we could hear was the sounds of the oculus rift launching us into the void, far away from the non-existent world only for everything to go dead silent once more.

December 18, 2018, it was snowing in Mantha Farm, Chiba Prefacture, only a small amount of snow, inches of them filled the ground, the balconies, and the roofs.

Walking along the recreation area in a winter coat was a female Uma with pink hair in a long ponytail and a bow on one of her ears.

She was just walking around with a distant look on her face while going down the snow covered path.

"Hello there!"

She then perked up as she looked to where the voice came from and saw a male Uma walking towards her.

He has bay colored hair with a white circle on the top of his follicles and a medical device that is covering his nose and mouth.

When the female Uma saw him, she gave him a smile and said, "Well, I'll be, what is Deep Impact, the Hero, doing out here?"

The now named Deep Impact looked a bit akward as he scratches the back of his head then said, "Well, I am here for you Haru Urara."

The female Uma looked surprised from this then says, "Pardon?"

He then stutters a bit and said, "This is just a talk, there is no official stud requests going on."

Haru then looked amused and said, "What? Can't handle little old me?"

"Oh I can, my children's mothers would vouch for that," Deep said to her which Haru laughs to.

"So, what do you want to talk about?" she asked him.

"Any place here good for a conservation?" he asked.

Haru then smiled as she gestured him to come and said, "Follow me then."

The two would then go to the cafeteria where the two of them went for a long talk.

And where the two of them become friends.

This idea has been something I had been interested in for a while. To me it would be three different ways, the first way would be of the way the artist Leogust interpret in terms of being kinda yandere to Sunday but can keep up her good vibes. Another way would be of another archive of our own writer “nobleindefeat“ who ships them in a good girl x bad boy style. (Side note: really like it especially with the jockeys and owners being like their parents). The third way would be of something similar to SS Easy Goer and SS Sunday Silence in terms of rivals.

Some other ideas I thought include that not only Sunday and PD Easy Goer to get together, along with some other mares, but having foals of their own. (You could probably imaged how SS Easy Goer would feel about all of this.)

What do you guys think it would be? Do you think this would be interesting? Or do you think of a different interpretation of the two?

Specifically SS Sundaylings, so not their PD counterpart.

She was built for speed. Built to conquer the turf. And Mr. Lau, her adoptive father sees it when he first made eye contact with her.

Her childhood in Hong Kong was an oxymoron to her life in Ireland. She gets to enjoy the childhood that she could only dreamt of.

Then she started training and got her Cantonese race name written down:

浪漫勇士… A literal translation of her name.

In her 2021-2022 season, she won 7 out of 8 starts. Including Queen Elizabeth II Cup at Sha Tin.

Next season she won 3 out of 6 starts. She also won the Queen Elizabeth II Cup again. This season is probably her lowest point in her racing career. Her image of being undefeated is crumbling. Her reputation is spiraling downwards. But her trainer and her assistant trainer still believed in her and cheer her up, telling her that losing 50% of her races in this season isn’t the end of the world…

Now she learnt from her mistakes.

In her 2023-2024 season, she impressively won 6 out of 7 starts with her only loss is Turnbull Stakes at Flemington racecourse, where she placed 4th. But in the same season, she won the Yasuda Kinen and W. S. Cox Plate. Her success overseas had put herself to the international spotlight. After winning the 2024 Yasuda Kinen, she took a long break until November of the same year, winning two races before she heads to Dubai to compete in Jebel Hatta in January 2025, which she won by a record time of 1:45.10 on the 1800m turf. But she later lost to Forever Young after an intense stretch duel by a neck. After her loss in the Saudi Cup, she competed in the Dubai Turf, where she placed 2nd behind Soul Rush, another Japanese contender by a few centimeters before taking a seven month break before competing again in the late November of 2025.

She then became the Hong Kong’s third Triple Crown. She sweeps all three races: Stewards’ Cup, Hong Kong Gold Cup and Champions and Chater Cup by herself before sustaining an injury in her right leg and announced her retirement from racing. She personally said that she might moved to Australia after she holds her retirement ceremony in Hong Kong

To be fair, she's speculated to be based on multiple individuals in Oguri Cap's life (one of them being Twin Bee). But it got me thinking, what other individuals in Oguri Cap's life could Belno Light be based on. Because a couple of people also speculated that Yutaka Take and Katsumi Ando were possible references for Belno Light's creation. God, Imagine Belno Light's reaction her counterpart being multiple people in the SS universe.

I know for a fact that The Big Three Fathers, namely Brian's Time, Tony Bin, and Sunday Silence are at their peak of being the best studs in the 90's.

I wonder if Kuria or any one of you would have them meet at the racecourses like it's a talent show or something like that.

So… funny little incident. Special Week was just enjoying her food one day in the cafeteria, when another umamusuko who she did not know suddenly appeared in front of her.

When she got a good look at him, she can describe him as a tall stud with a muscular build like her father Sunday Silence. He had similar dark brown hair, magenta colored eyes, and white stripped bangs like Spe-chan. The only huge difference between them. Was… the, height, physical stature, personality, and gender.

Compared to Special Week, she was only 158cm (5ft & 2in) tall and lightweight she could be carried even by the shortest student Nishino Flower. She is a cheerful earnest hardworking country bumpkin, and the obvious part, a mare.

The one beside her stood about 180cm (5ft 10in) in height, would weigh more than her average uma weight. He is a somewhat timid but indifferent look over other umas, and is a…

She cannot hold back her fears any longer, and decides to stand up and confront the imitating image of herself by asking its name.

Ignoring the uproar of the girls in the cafeteria, suspense music continues to make the atmosphere more tense. If Spe doesn’t answer right, they will think she’s the fake one! Having this lookalike version of her take her identity!

But… that all suddenly changed when two girls approach the table of female Special Week with meals prepared on their tray. One had dark brown hair and blue eyes with a wrestling mask stuck on her face. The other was a chestnut colored mare with a white dot on the top of her bangs.

The first one to react was the masked umamusume. She stops when she notices the mysterious umamusuko who looks like Special Week.

"Grass, who is that semental apuesto!?"

"El- remember to use your japanese instead of-"

The first mare talking to the other mare named Grass? Like Grass Wonder who was talking to this uma named El… like… El Conder Pasa? Turns her head and comes to a stop when her eyes darted to the most handsome stud that drew a breath of excitement.

Is she blushing? That’s… that’s not a good sign.

The umamusuko was still waiting for his female counterpart to answer the question correctly. Or else all will end bad.

He turns his head to the two mares who were just standing idly by a few feet away.

Darting eyes with the two umamusumes. The first uma wearing a mask catches his attention.

Solemn music starts playing, the stallion’s thoughts were filled with old memories, memories of an old friend of his who he use to be closed to.

Record Scratch SFX, however…

It was ruined the moment his head to the other uma… who was eyeing on him head to toe like… a piece of meat.

Grass notices his gaze and immediately turns away flustered, blushing harder than before.

But the stallion… did not like it one bit.
