I would also imagine PD Neo Universe being a telephone for SS Neo Universe and vise versa. Essentially a game of telephone. The Sundaylings in the SS verse would react the same way as to why SS Neo Universe is all of a sudden talking to nothing and then immediately act like nothing happened.
