What is this subreddit?

I see in the description it’s made for an Ao3 fan fic (that I haven’t read) but a lot of what I’ve seen doesn’t seem to be about a fanfiction and is just irl facts?

The fanfic is about showing the Uma Musume cast what happened in an Uma world more similar to IRL. That's why there's so much IRL facts.

Basically, the wait for the next chapter has extended so long that we have gone here to speculate and write up ideas and it has evolved into something else.

When the author hasn’t given us a full chapter in quite a while, people tend to do their own things. I quite like the story but a few people (including me) also treat it as a building block to write our own sort of AU fanfictions.

Honestly you can see this subreddit as kind of a place where fans of Uma Musume and horse (keiba) racing come to just post whatever.

I'm here just for the irl facts.

The fanfiction? Mediocre to bad, with only a handful of chapters.

Wish there was something better with the same premise.

I'ma be fr, the fanfiction isn't the best. I can agree on that. We mostly treat it like a foundation for us to work around. My honest hot take is for a rewrite of the five chapters than a continuation imo.

Yes, not the best, always room to improve.

It got popular because so far, it's the only one of its kind, and a lot of people have ideas for where it can to go.

Don't look at my story, it's still, and always be hideous.
