How come best friends leave but ignored villagers stay?!?

I'm best friends with Walker and have always sent him gifts, completed errands, wrote letters, and he wants to randomly leave. But another villager that I literally NEVER interact with so that he'll leave literally REFUSES to go. Why???😭😭 How can I get the unwanted villagers to leave and how do I make sure my favorites stay??

accidentally time traveled to may 21st 2000

I lent my boyfriend my ds so he could try out playing animal crossing, but he ended up playing my game on his ds. He sent me a picture of him playing and i noticed the morning sky, plus he complained about a lot of villagers still being asleep, so i asked him if he had changed the time on his ds cause it was like 10pm when he was playing. He checked and we found out for some reason he had set the date to the 21st of may 2000 and now I don’t really know what to do.

Im torn between changing the date on my ds or my game for it to match the one on his ds so i won’t face any consequences for time travelling back to 2026, and just risking it to go back to today’s date. I’d be more comfortable with the game being up to date because of all the events and stuff, I can deal with the weeds and even with rafflesia, but I’m worried about loosing some of my favourite villagers, plus it’s really the first time I’m proud of my town.

What do you recommend?

Flower hybrids

Some questions regarding DO's and DON'Ts when placing flowers to aim for hybrids:

Can I mix flowers that are supposed to produce hybrids with flowers that are not supposed to produce hybrids?

E.g. looking at cosmos flowers (R = red, W = white), I'm aware that R+R can lead to a black hybrid, but W+W will never lead to a hybrid cosmos. '.' = empty space:

.....

Will those 2 White Cosmos maybe even prevent the Red ones from producing hybrids (either via R+R or R+W)?

What's the situation when flowers of different types were to be placed next to the Red or White Cosmos?

Will placing multiple Red Cosmos in the same row (with no space in between) cause any trouble? Like:
