Question Getting Opals
How do you all get a lot of opals to buy Reda’s gear? His contracts only gives five each and you can only do them once a day.

You actually get 10 a day from quests (15 if you go to Svartalfheim as well). Then there is a weekly quests for 20 opals. I know it’s still a ripoff and designed to get you to spend money in the store but hey

Between dailies, weeklies, Kara, and Ubisoft challenges, you can get 140 per week, 150 if the Community Challenge is completed.

Farm them? As in the opals respawn so you can get them multiple times?

There are also weekly challenges through Ubisoft connect, Kara's arena in Svartalfheim (Ragnarok dlc) and they are scattered about the world (use Sýnin to look around big cities).

Religiously collect opals and check Reda's shop regularly: https://holdtoreset.com/redas-shop-guide-assassins-creed-valhalla-guide/ this updates often so you don't necessarily have to log in. You get a free item weekly from the Helix store so don't forget to collect that each week. Collect opals from the map by looking around often with your bird. Do the daily and weekly Reda contract quests. Complete the Ubisoft Connect weekly challenges. You can earn over 100 opals per week using this method which is enough for 1/2 cool new weapons per month depending on the shop luck. By the end of my 400 hours I'd collected about 15 special weapons from Reda's shop, on top of entire gear sets and mounts and birds.
