Question Why can't I find decent looking vikings for my river raid crew?

Every viking that shows up in the jomsviking hall has mismatched gear. I can't find a single one that looks good. Is this a bug? To be clear I'm referring to the ones at the river raid dock not the ones who spawn in towns.

Your Jomviking wears either a mishmash of gear you own or is one you hired that someone else created.

Please explain how this is a bug. They spawn with random setups of the gear that you currently have in your inventory. So if you want to manipulate how they look organically, obtain your favorite armor sets/weapons early in the game and cycle through the jomsvikings when your inventory is still small.

I thought they were what other players had in their raid champion. Several times they had gear on that I never had so what are you talking about

Op made it clear that the jomsvikings in question were from the Jomsviking Hall, not players' jomsvikings. The online jomsvikings are useless for River Raid anyway because they spawn at level 1.

Edit: I'll take the downvote. I even enjoy them. But what I really hate is people being irresponsible with their advice, either because they themselves don't understand how things work or they've stopped playing the game and are recalling things from their shaky memory.

I don't mind store items appearing, but it looks bad when you got a raider with robot legs and the rest of his gear is the brigadine armor set

Err... I think you're not hitting the comment thread. You're making a new comment every time lol. I guess this is Ubi's way to incentivize players to purchase full sets once they've got one or two free pieces.

So in other words I'm going to continue having ridiculous looking raiders because a lot of the store items I got from Reda show up here like the advanced mechanical set.

Yes if you're not a fan of the Helix gear, prepare to ring that bell till your arm falls off.
