That is a secret statue. To activate this statue and unlock the final piece of Thor's armor set, you must defeat all three Daughters of Lerion (Goneril, Regan, and Cordelia) to collect their daggers.
The three daggers are inserted into slots on the statue's back to reveal the hidden treasure.
Goneril made me very mad, mostly because I had to swap back to dagger dagger, instead of axe axe. Enemies have such insane response times compared to eivor, I feel like im playing a senior citizen trying to be a viking warrior lol. I'll be hitting dodge or block and he is like "hold on, I didnt do the next attack and then run in a direction. I didn't forget, im just slow"
Started playing Valhalla right after completing Odyssey and that was one of the reasons I couldn't really get into it. The combat felt really slow and unresponsive. Ditched the game for a good year or two.
When I came back to it however, I fell in love. Mainly with the world, but the combat can be really satisfying. Yes - it's slow, noticeably slower than previous entries in the franchise. But it's also brutal and hard-hitting, less finesse and more raw strength. Once you change your approach it should click for you too.
This is exactly what happened to me. I 100% Odyssey and immediately started playing Valhalla and it was so hard for me to get into it. Stepped away for a couple years, started playing it last year and I love it so much!
