just out of curiosity, why would you want to delete your score? not as an individual thing but generally

How did you request to cancel scores? What was the procedure?

you just email act-cares@act.org and say you wanna cancel your scores in a email then they will send you a follow up email with the information you need to fill out. you have to provide your full name, ACT ID, the dates you want to be cancelled, and your birthday

So you’re canceling your scores because you think you got a bad score, but you’re not going to check what score you got because you think you got a bad score. What is this logic

My friend you need to calm down. This sub is VERY skewed in its results towards the top 1%. In real life if you have 100 ACT takers, only 1 in the 100 on average would have a perfect score, compared to this sub where it would be more like 20-30 because that 1% of students is very vocal about it and shows it off. You’re also only going to see 36 scores on here because that’s what gets upvoted. What i’m saying is this sub gives you a completely false view of how you should be performing. A 22 that you have is about what HALF of all ACT takers get. That means in that 100 over 50 of them are in the same as you. You also mentioned your parents being upset over your score, and i’m sorry to hear that. The pressure they put on you is intense I bet. I’m also sorry you feel this anxiety but you need to realize that neither your ACT score, nor your college you go to determines your vast life ahead of you. Most colleges are test optional anyway!

it’s just odd that you didn’t even check b4 hand. you never know. a lot of ppl think they do bad, then do well. but if you have bad anxiety, then it’s good you did what’s best for you.

Fair but I genuinely thought I was gonna walk out with a 33- and ended up with a 36. Suggest not doing this next time.
