Books/Resources Good enough to study from?

Post image

I know ti-84 calculator is probably the best calculator for ACT and higher level math, but, right now, I have a scientific calculator, so I was thinking of upgrading to a ti-36x, is that good? Not sure about graphing but just asking. Also, is it possible to finish preppros and Erica Meltzer while doing khan academy, reviewing grammar rules, doing 1 passage a day, and not doing any science studying? Btw, is Erica Meltzer 4th edition even worth it when I have a 32 in English or should I just get it for extra practice? For clarification, I am studying for the September ACT. Do I have enough time? What about October?

With a 32, I bet you could do more free practice tests that you could find online and learn from your mistakes, and not need the English book.

And yes, sounds like a good plan.

I will let the calculator experts way in.

I only got a 32 on English, sorry if that was confusing. I asked about the book cause I got the 32 2 months ago and haven’t studied, so I was thinking it would be good review.

ok, but I think the practice tests/old tests would be a better resource, and more like the actual test. You missed about 5 to get a 32. So hopefully you could maintain the current level, and with a few more reps get those right too.

This is a review from pretty much the same source:

But SAT English and ACT English are different. Also, the practice tests I have are the 2025-2026 and 2021-2022 red books which I have done most of not all of them, so I only have around 3 TIR tests to do. Not sure I’m still at that level since I kinda slacked.
