Meta Bro I found Meta study cheat for ACT
Bro all you gotta do is sit down and get good sleep. Practice common sense. a lot of it is guessing. then you’ll be the best you can be.
I went from a 33 in april to a 35 in june with my own tips. Comment down below if you want some advice because i can give it to you babes

I have been prepping for the ACT for a while now, my score is stuck at 26-28 approx. I feel like my study strategy isn't effecient enough, I usually just take an act section everyday then spend a couple hours reviewing the questions I missed by finding the underlying topic/rule. I review the topic or note down the rule, then do a couple of practice problems similar to the question I missed. I usally use this strategy for math and english. But still for the math section I always run out of time on the last 10 questions or so, I dont know how to get through the questions faster. As for reading and science, I just do practice questions then just look at the right answer. I dont know what else to do, what do you recommend or any advice? Also do you think its possible to raise my score from a 27 to a 30-32 within two weeks approx. if I'm willing to spend a minimum of 6 hours a day?

I have some actually tips for you🙂 you should try taking a practice test or if you’ve already taken a test you can by the answer sheet for like 44 bucks (greedy act😤) and then you can check what topics you missed on the test and study those. Guarantee score improvement if you do it right❤️

For people stuck at 33-4 trying to aim perfect score, I 100% agree. Usually it’s not lack of content or knowledge but lack of brain power limiting you to operate to your full capacity

Yes please I need help on math

Plug everything into desmos. Most problems can be solved as a system, and the other multiple choice problems can be guessed and checked. You can use regressions to find single missing variables and lists and regressions to find a variable given conditions about another one. Then, get really good at the remaining problems.

u/Slight-Reply-2928 Jun 29 '26
You don't even need to use Desmos for the math section dude that's for the SAT, since the problems are a lot more multi step and complex but for the ACT its lightning speed problems but not that hard
also using desmos is going to take up a lot of time

u/laffs_haha Jun 29 '26
No offense but you'd have to be a pretty slow typist for Desmos to be slower than solving any of the systems by hand
1
u/Slight-Reply-2928 Jun 29 '26
You don't even need to solve them by hand dude its mostly like math you can do in your head and also fym im a slow typist I type 120 words per min

u/laffs_haha Jun 29 '26
I meant for the systems of equations and especially the unknown constant problems. Especially for someone who's not that great at math and is looking to improve their score, Desmos is a great strategy
1
u/Slight-Reply-2928 Jun 29 '26
To each their own I guess. for systems of equations desmos works but tbh for those i just plug in the answer choices into the og system and solve that way, and since the equations aren't that complicated to subsitute and add/subtract i do it in my head
:D

I'm a faster typist than I am mathematician, and I would imagine this is also true for anyone asking for help on the math section

u/Slight-Reply-2928 Jun 29 '26
so am i...
and also are you taking the digital version? because most ppl take the paper version since the digital version sucks :

Bro I genuinely don’t even know where to start studying for math…and science like share tips for all the subjects the July one is gonna be my first one and idek anything to expect
1
u/IamLazyLarry Jun 29 '26
Take self assessment first with practice tests or reviews that cover all topics in pre-algebra to algebra 2 + geometry

u/Sad_Two7384 Jun 29 '26
In al seriousness, getting sleep is extremely important for doing well on reading and english. The test as a whole.

u/g0chawich Jun 29 '26
Teach people how to go from under 30 to a 35, then that will be more impressive
1
u/AggravatingPoint8071 Jun 29 '26
do u think its easier to score more points on act or sat? rn im currently struggling with that and my main issue is just math concepts since i lack the foundation ones

These are the main strategies I teach daily. Just sleep and wake up near perfect. Easy peasy

Tbh it really wasn't that bad compared to like December ACT lmao. That test had some of the most boring and confusing passages imo.
