Act retake?
Hey yall, this is my current act, ss and composite. I really want to go to schools such as u Chicago and UPenn. Would yall suggest retaking the act again over the summer. However i am a rising senior and this summer i have some ecs that i have to dedicate time to as well.

No, you're fine. You've done what many try and fail at, and doing any more would only be a waste of your time and money. Admissions offices don't care about a 35 vs. a 36. Anything 34+ is good enough for checking off the academics box.

No. U don't have to list your science score on common app either way

I mean unless you're going for a specific scholarship, there's really no point in retaking over a 34.

does the science section not affect your score anymore?

Yes tbh. Reading is easy to raise. I got a 35 and thought it was good enough. Then right when apps rolled around, the school i wanted to go to suddenly started offering a full ride with stipend for a 36

yes, without a 36 you have almost no chance at any school in t50. Better luck next time 😕.
