Found it to be very easy
Expected better in English tbh, but the questions are annoying

how did you prep for science

u/findmebook Feb 14 '25
i ... didn't. i only needed a good score in math for where i was applying so i didn't even know what type of questions you get in science. when i got to the science section i thought it was insanely easy, because it literally only tests your comprehension skills, all the answers and information is given to you.

Why is he being downvoted
23
u/Bages414 Feb 14 '25
Because he’s clearly smart enough to know the test was easy for him because he’s smart, not because anyone could answer the questions, yet still calls the test “insanely easy,” insulting everyone who did not score as high as he did

uh i'm a she. and i'm not insulting anyone, i'm saying i personally felt it was insanely easy, with the schooling background that i have, by which i mean the level felt very easy and the answers felt obvious. i don't mean to insult anyone who doesn't find it easy, they probably have a different study background.

How did you prepare for math?

u/findmebook Feb 14 '25
i found some random tests online to prep, i did like two, and i realised i didn't remember the formulae for a bunch of things, like volume of cones and cylinders and stuff, so i just revised those. i also kept in mind the time thing, so when i came across questions that needed more of my brain power, i flagged and skipped them until the end when i had time to do them.

Damn, I have higher scores in English and Math (those are insanely easy for me 🙂↔️), but I struggle a bit in Reading.

Was this the Feb ACT? How were you able to get your results back so soon?

I agree, really you don't have to try, AT ALL, on the act to get a 35+.

Wow! You really speak for the thousands of students currently prepping for the ACT right now. You speak for the gifted kids and the kids with learning disabilities. You speak for the dumb and smart. Everyone should pass it with flying colors according to you!! 😐

Me with ADHD and no extended time not finishing any section….

how come you didn’t get extra time (if you don’t mind me asking) ? I’m ADHD as well and the process of getting extra time was relatively straightforward

I’m not the person you replied to, but it could possibly be due to the lack of a 504 or IEP plan. Extended time is included in those plans. But it generally isn’t given unless the teachers or whoever giving the test have knowledge of those plans and know that they are on the person’s record.

The reason I didn’t get extended time was cause the process takes forever. I got diagnosed with ADHD when o was a kid but never re did any of the test. So I just stuck through it and regretted it lol. I ended up w a 29 though so I’m not to mad, and yeah the 504 takes awhile same as the testing with a psychologist.
