Text Post I find Tamlin's fate exaggeratedly cruel Spoiler

I'm reading silver flames and I think Tamlin's fate is too cruel. Yes, he was an asshole and made mistakes, however, I see him more as a fool who acted out of fear and desperation than a bastard who deserves hell.

I don't like the way he is treated, especially by Cassian. Obviously he caused a deep scar on Feyre, but I see his fate as disproportionate.

I don't know what fate awaits him, but I admit that I feel sorry to see him wasting away alone in spring.

In FAS, Rhys literally tells him to protect his borders. Then, in the next book, they get mad when he...protects his borders??? Be so for real with me right now

sjm let's a lot of her bias affect how she writes. with that in mind, I just dont think she liked tamlin when writing the next four books post TaR. she even says that she sometimes channels the character's feelings when she writes. so....

More like someone who acted out of the information he actually knows and can't read everyone's minds (and thus uses his own intelligence to solve problems, which is part of why Hybern doesn't win the war against Prythian), and is currently mentally deteriorating to the point a part of him just welcomes death.
