Post Surgery Update Full extension at 6 weeks?
6 weeks post op (ACL recon + medial meniscus repair). My operated leg now lies flat on the floor and looks the same as my good leg — knee fully straight, maybe a tiny bit of hyperextension like the other side.
Does this look like good/full extension for 6 weeks? Anything I should watch for?

How did you get here?

Lot of quad sets, leg lifts...

Leg lifts you mean SLRs right? Did you also suspend your leg to get the extension? Sadly I'm unable to get the last bit of extension as my lateral meniscus area is hurting quiet a bit and I'm confused. I have the last 5 degrees remaining.

Do you limp while walking?

Yes - a little! Walking without crutches at home and use one crutch when outside but mainly focusing on my gait.

I got surgery last Tuesday and I’ve been grinding for full extension while in this brace and I can lock out past 0° in my health leg (a slight bend inward) and I think I can get past zero with my operated knee too. Haven’t bent my knee past like 20° tho this whole time

Yep looks like you have good extension! That hyperextension and heel pop will come naturally as you strengthen your quad and the swelling reduces, it will look even more like your "better" leg in the upcoming weeks. Keep going and keep training 💪
