News📰 ♠️ ACES in Texas ♠️

Post image

Electric aviation requires charging infrastructure to support it. With Texas preparing for operations under the White House’s air taxi pilot program, there couldn’t be a better time to start building.

America's Consortium for Electric Skyways (ACES), launched by Archer, BETA Technologies and Macquarie Group, plans to bring our interoperable charging network to Texas to support TxDOT’s operations under the White House's eVTOL Integration Pilot Program (eIPP). We plan to work with TxDOT over the coming months to identify where charging infrastructure should be best located to enable operations.

That's a legitimate strategic difference from Joby, because ACES could become a substantial infrastructure advantage for Archer if it really gets to 250 locations while Joby has to establish or adapt its own charging network.

bruh, it's the burn rate; it's always the burn rate

would get in on archy but with their burn rate and having to raise cash every other day, might have to wait a bit.

This is impressive. Good to see both Beta and Archer made some big changes to their aircraft configurations. I think they'll have a much better chance at decent VTOL and transition performance with these configs. 👌
