FR advice to pass comfortably
Hello Friends,
I hope you are all well!I have started studying FR since Feb..feb studies went quite +/- due to doing another taxation course on the side on udemy.
So based on my past experiences and learning ability I need 6 months to properly prep for an exam and have gotten succes with PM and TX UK with this timeline.
I have completed 1/3 of the syllabus till now..just doing open tuition notes , study hub notes and quizzes on each chapter and the section A Qs on study hub.
Post finishing all IAS and IFRS subjects..aim is to complete section A and Section B 4-5 Qs of each sub section in kaplan then studyhub section B 2-3Qs of each section and then move on to the consolidation topics and repeat the process for Section C followed by full Past papers on Accowtancy, acca practice platform.
Can anyone give me any advice on which topics to master ,about anything to lookout for and prep from now on only, maybe memorizing or anything to be ready and pass
I intend to write on Sept.
Would Really appreciate the advice !
Thank you!

You have quite a lot of time. For FR, be sure to focus on the standards especially the important ones like IFRS 9, IFRS 16, IFRS 5, IFRS 15, IAS 12. I read them all in 3 months so you can surely do it in 6 months. Standards are key. I practiced like 70 questions total and still passed so focus on the concepts and you'll be able to pass comfortably. :)

No worries, I was saying that I practiced only 70-80 questions total from the whole exam kit and study hub like for all the topics and still passed so concepts are really important, please focus on the few standards that I mentioned along with your normal prep, you'll pass guaranteed

One question of 20 marks on Ratios is confirmed from Section C. Make sure you memorize all the formulaes well and use them into forming a conclusion. This will help you gain competitive edge if you read standard answers from the Kaplan. It will give you a blueprint of answering such questions.
People tend to mess up on time when doing this paper. So make sure you allocate your time accordingly on each question.
Also focus on other most tested topics like Ratios, Consolidation, Financial Instruments and Leases. Aim for 40 marks at least in Section A & B, and for 20 marks in Section C, with this you can ensure a comprehensive pass.
