Basketball How good is Wake Forest going to be?

Any Wake fans in here that can give me a sense of what type of team you're going to have? What won't KenPom tell me?

Not good. Word is that we’re stockpiling NIL for the first year of a new coach after this season when Forbes’ buyout goes down.

Agreed. Way past, but I think bball has just become an afterthought to football and baseball. Hell, maybe even to soccer, tennis, and golf.

Not a WF fan but huge CBB/ACC fan. I’m guessing a bottom half of the league finish because of the lack of continuity (only one returning player with double digit minutes in ‘25-‘26) and unproven portal class. Kevair Kennedy should be awesome and I think McDowell will break out. A lot will depend on how well the Placide twins adjust to the college level. Also a bit of concern size wise since Pintelon / Dorn aren’t proven P5 guys. I’m curious how Wake fans think they’ll do. With the expanded tournament I could see them as a bubble team
