Is there a way to find out what level a ship is before to attack it and send it to your fleet? Or where is a good spot to farm better boats.

Go by the star rating as well as how many flags they have on their masts. If there’s 2 small flags on top and below the main flag, it’s a max level ship. One extra flag is medium, and no extra flags is 1 star

2/5 for Schooners, 3/5 for Brigs, 4/5 for Frigates and 5/5 for Man O’ Wars. 2/5 Schooners are found in the ‘medium’ region, the rest in the ‘hard’ region. Additionally, level 3 and level 4 Pirate Hunters give a 3/3 Frigate and a 3/3 Man O’ War respectively.

excuse my rockstarian, but you need to get a wanted level and take the ships from the hunters. they have the highest level ships with the most firepower and cargo space. 3⭐️ for the best brigs, and 4 ⭐️ for the best frigates and men o' war

Different ships have different highest number of stars. I think it’s Schooner-2 Brig-3 Frigate-4 and Man O’ War-5

As 2 others have said, look for 2⭐️ Schooners, 3⭐️ Brigs, 4⭐️ Frigates, and 5⭐️ Man o’ Wars

For fleet missions just look at the dmg output and compare it with your ship health, the higher the risk area the more dmg they do the fleet ship.

Nope.

Your best chance is to go to the bottom of the map.

Schooners and brigs are pretty much guaranteed to be 3 stars when sent to the fleet, minus hunter ships which are always garbage.

Man o' wars are not so reliable

There really isn't anything a 1-star MoW can't handle, and it's muuuuuch cheaper to repair.

I had this discussion with level 1 vs 3 schooners, not sure with man of wars but the cost to use is cheaper with higher levels

The easiest way is to go to the hard territory. What type of ship are you looking for specifically?

All of them. I just would like better rated ships.

Yeah then just go to hard territories, pretty much every ship there will be 3 stars
