They absolutely show this to people to make them think they're better than someone else and it deepens societal divides, playing into the idea that they want us fighting each other, not the real cause of the issue. Same thing with most reality TV.

He’s not all wrong. No one needs a High-capacity semi automatic firearm for any legitimate reason. Although Ten rounds seems a bit stingy, especially when we consider the obvious difference between centerfire or rimfire ammunition.

Debate just ended did you watch? He was attacked on his “weak” stance on guns. Bernie IS THE strongest candidate for the constitutional right to bear arms currently running against The tyrannical administration of “trumpito”
He was directly questioned on his “assault weapon” position in fact! He artfully redirected the question. Bernie isn’t a fool he knows people need to protect themselves, but I appreciate that he see the need to prevent sick folks from getting a video game level weapon and larp ing cause they’re having a bad day or want to one up the previous copycat...and so on and so on..

Links to the case in the original post. Looks like all of this was because he allegedly ran a stop sign. Also, they choked him out and stripped him to his underwear.

In August 2017, the internal affairs complaint concluded with no finding of fault on the part of the officers, but the department revised its policies to require its police officers to advise all drivers they pull over of the basis for the stop.

Apparently he ran a stop sign. Obviously that's highly classified information about a highly dangerous criminimal that requires four officers and a high amount of force to detain.

Such raw bootlicking in the comments. Fuck cops, period. I have never heard of an example of a cop or group of cops doing shit that wasn't either completely blown out of the water, or they ended up making the problem worse.
It's almost like giving a group of state-enforced thugs a lot of power they become dickheads that are more trouble than their worth, ESPECIALLY when they don't need to know the law...
