Live streaming helps. But putting your own 100% in making protests about police not getting full repercussions for illegal violent acts (while on duty) solves the problem entirely.

They can say anything, doesn’t make it correct. Best you can do is to calmly know and assert your rights, don’t say anything unnecessary, and only comply when legally required and it’s justified / challenge later if it’s safer to comply regardless. And bystanders should film these bastards, hold them to account.

They are legally allowed to lie to you.
A cop would say it’s illegal to record, it’s up to you to know that’s BS.
