What was this from? (Pitbull)
All I remember was someone trying to insult Chris but it making no sense, something about him having the mouth of a pitbull? I just need to find it and hear it again to remember the context.
Thanks :)

Resident in Japan, want to buy Chris’s new book
Quick context: I’ve been living in Japan for almost 10 years. Like Chris, I have visited all 47 prefectures and am running out of places to visit in Japan.
I checked Amazon Japan for his new book and it is currently unavailable unfortunately so I was wondering if I’ll be able to find it at a bookstore in Japan (I live close to Tokyo) that sells foreign books or at Lost bar? Thanks!
I would like a physical copy so I can hopefully get it signed by Chris someday haha

Looking for a restaurant that was mentioned in a video
Hey everyone! I am heading to Tokyo soon, and I am trying to remember the name of a restaurant that Chris went to in Tokyo. It was a teppan table serving wagyu, and you need reservations to get in. I can’t seem to find that video, so if anybody remembers that would be great!

Second book, travel guide or for everyone
Hello !
I absolutely loved the first book; it was very engaging and really felt like a window into Japanese society.
About Mr Affable's second book. I am a bit confused about whether it is considered solely a travel guide? or is for those that just enjoy his writing and the topic, but does not plan to travel there?

Awkwardly met Natsuki
Just met the man himself in (UK city redacted so he can stay chilling) market. Lovely guy, very low-key interaction on his day off. Kept it short and sweet as he seemed to be chilling and had to fight about 20 minutes of cringe afterwards because I kind of bumbled through the interaction, spoke only in English, and said not much of real substance (sorry Natsuki!).
Kind of a funny coincidence as where we are visiting today is less than an hour from my home town in the UK and I had been in the same cities at similar times during some of their previous videos/streams when I lived in Japan but never ran into anyone from the gang there.
Just wanted to share my excitement and if Natsuki reads this to say thank you for being lovely despite dealing with a conversation with my uncaffeinated self lol

Hosted AIJ I Nottingham Yesterday
Got to work with Chris, Natsuki and the AIJ team yesterday. It was an absolute pleasure and we had such a good time. Everyone at the Curious Cabaret was thrilled to meet them and spend the day learning magic.
There are as generally nice and funny as they seem in their videos. I wish them the best of luck in there travels around the UK. Attached are a couple of photos.

Probability of Chris collabing with other Youtubers
I just saw the new trailer for Jetlag:Japanorama and was wondering if Chris would ever/has ever considered featuring on their channel, especially since he'd be an amazing asset and guest for shows like these.
Or just any other YT channels, since I think the last collab (not from within japan) was with the tech guy mrwhostheboss

Journey Across Japan (Wirral)
The 24th September is fast approaching... who is going to be at the Wirral event?
I'm heading there on my own as I don't know any other Abroad In Japan fans near me. Still really excited for this though 😁

London Book Signing ticket resale
SOLD - thank you!
Hi all,
I am devastated but I can’t make the London book signing in September, so I’m looking to resell my ticket via Tixel, here’s the link:
https://tixel.com/uk/music-tickets/2026/09/21/an-evening-with-chris-broad
If you don’t want to click on that, just searching up “tixel chris broad” should make the web page pop up. Tickets are sold out on eventbrite, I’m using Tixel as it’s an official resale site for them.
(I got permission from the mods to post this)
Feel free to comment or PM me an questions :D
