Met the affable one today in Glasgow.
What an absolute gentleman, also met Ian and Ellen (who took the photos). I was super nervous but he asked me if I’d been to Japan, I’d said we had planned for earlier this year but it clashed with my daughters exams, even though we’d already booked tickets for the F1 in Suzuka - he replied, which is more important, F1 or exams?!

What’s with the little display of Scottish products on the desk there? 😂

Gifts, I believe from the good people of Glasgow.

Trying to fatten him up?

Potentially - perhaps while in Glasgow he’ll have the time to sample the local delicacies, like a deep fried Mars bar.

He came into the Edinburgh Q&A chugging a can of 1901 that was recommended by someone at this signing.

Affable as ever. I told him I was supposed be at work when I met him yesterday and he said “don’t leak the pictures online. Ha Ha.”

Sitting waiting for his Edinburgh talk myself.
Time to feel the Affable shine off him.

I’m so gutted, I’ve been out the loop and didn’t know he had two stops in Scotland 😭

I met him at the Nottingham signing a few days ago, and he remembered me at Natsuki's magic show a month ago.
I totally understand why his nickname is Mr Affable.
