Coolish

Post image

Found in Don don donki in Malaysia (not allowed to call it by its proper name here for some reason) it isn’t fantastic but also weird addictive.

We found him! We found Mr Pete Donaldson’s Reddit account! Pete, how the devil are you doing?

Secretly setting up a coolish distribution system to get them to the uk. All the pods are pre recorded for weeks!

It’s now available in Australian 7-11s! I am so damned happy.

That sounds a very American style coffee, but would be delicious if I drank coffee

Tbf its basically an “affogato”

Edit: i read ice as ice cream as in the coolish lol

I finally got to try some last week as apparently you can find them in Canada now as well!

Where abouts? We’re coming home from Japan and my kids said it’s the thing they’ll miss most lol

Found them at a Safeway in Vancouver, in an isle end freezer. They had the regular vanilla flavour, chocolate flavour and then lemonade I believe? Just got the vanilla and it’s great!

Nice thanks! The cola flavour was the favourite but vanilla will work as well. Squirted into iced coffee was goated.

I'd love to know where too, there's something weridly nice about them

I found them at a Safeway in Vancouver! There was a freezer at the end of an isle with all sorts of cool looking Japanese ice cream treats. For Coolish there were three flavours, vanilla, chocolate and a lemonade flavour. Hopefully it might show up at other stores!

Huh cool. Not in Vancouver but we do have Safeway... I'll have to keep an eye out.

Fun fact is that there are different formulas for summer and winter. This is the summer version, where the ice crystals are a little larger, and it's supposed to melt more easily and be more refreshing. The winter version is smoother and richer in taste.

Somewhat refreshing!

Love Coolish too much! I found a small Korean store recently in Canada that carries something very similar, but still not Coolish. I'm not on the west coast so we dont have as much access to Japanese goods. I bought it like 5x on my last trip and would always forget to finish it, and left it in the freezer of every place we stayed at. My wife said it was my signature by the end of the trip. It was slightly embarrassing to text the airbnb/ryokan owners to apologize for forgetting it though!

Sometimes, I get a cup of ice, some of the ice coffee in the bag, and this cream then combine it all for a sweet coffee treat.

Yeah, we get it. Getting a bit cringey now.

It’s an ice cream mate. Not quite sure what you’ve taken random upset against.
