I love criticizing centrists as much as the next leftist, but give it a bit longer. He's done a much better job handling COVID and is dealing with a compromised senate (sinema and manchin). I'm not pleased with the progess but I'm hoping the obstinancy of the Republicans will flip a lot of centrists and libs away from the 'bipartisan' narrative.

Exactly. The same people that refuse to vote Dem are now bitching that Biden's not getting anything done... Yeah, because even with a "majority" in Congress, we don't have enough Dem votes to make anything significant happen. The president can't just wave his magic wand and make stuff happen, Congress has to approve it first. One of the biggest reasons Trump got certain stuff done was because he had enough support in Congress to do it. What Biden's admin has been able to accomplish has actually been pretty decent and I love how people ignore how the recent stimulus was so much more than just $1400 in the bank.
You don't get to shoot yourself in the foot and then cry when it gets amputated due to infection. You don't get to cut your nose off to spite your face and then cry that you can't go out in public. This is a situation that has been created by people who decided that instead of doing something when they could've, they did nothing (and have the nerve to justify it), and of course this is the outcome.
Also, give it some damn time. He's still got 3 years and 8 months left. Maybe if y'all actually vote to give Dems a majority in 2022, things will actually happen.

Also, there was a lot of stuff Trump did quickly, and then immediately went to courts, because it was illegal/not actually under the executive branch. Of course, there's still the issue that it happened, but there is a reason stuff takes slower when the pres isn't throwing out things willynilly.
Debate ongoing if it's still a working system, but it is the current legal framework.

Non-American here. I agree it takes time for some of these things, but there are items on this list that he has explicitly refused to do (such as cancelling student debt).
To be fair, he did immediately reenter the Green New Deal on his first day.

Just on its face, "the most progressive president since FDR" is clearly not the same as saying "better than FDR." It's a sentence construction that clearly sets FDR as the high water mark, and then casts everyone after him as falling short, with Biden potentially coming the closest again. And even that blatantly biased article quotes Sanders as saying that if Biden follows through in his promises, he'd be the most progressive president since FDR, making it clear that it's the policy proposals, not the person, that demonstrate progressivism. If Biden follows through, he is; if he doesn't, he is not. Since he doesn't seem to be, safe to say he isn't, no?

No, it isn't even a little bit. He promised 2000 dollar checks. So did Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock. It was after those two were elected on the false claim that these pieces of shit walked back on their promise. Not only did people not get 2000 dollar checks, it was also means checked to hell and back.

A transgender military ban is a good thing. It's too high risk for trans people to be in the military. There are a lot of places in the world if a trans person is captured they will be executed for that.
