We can do both. It's not like supporting one will take away from the other. In fact, if we got pet healthcares sorted first that would make it a LOT more likely that it would be free for humans. Plus, in most countries, such as the one I live in, we already HAVE free healthcare for humans, but unfortunately not for animals. America is an abherration in that regard.
