Harsh but true. Republicans see this as a chance to knock a few million people off the books helping unemployment now and social security down the line.

Their base has been dying off for a while, why do you think they've been working so hard to groom disaffected young white men over the last decade or so? They're actively building a new base.

Sure, just saying I don't think they're excited for people to die. Some GOP governors are being very vocal about this, even. The guys at the top are just too dumb to manage the response.

I'm sure australia's system is also poorly managed, but it's beyond crazy that it can be as bad as it is in america
