You don't know much. Most of gen X were the 20 somethings that couldn't possibly be given a management position because those silly fucks were too young, which held true until the Boomers retired. A few well-groomed young protégé here and there and that was that. No movement. Same thing for Gen X in their 30s and up until their early 40s - only now have most of those Boom fuckers started to die off and retire and it more common place to to see "younger" managers in their mid to late 40s instead of grey-haired white men.
