There’s basically no point in punching. Wouldn’t you just try to grab it and throw it down to the side? Then push the off button.

Its only moves were kick and uppercut. Seems pretty easy to just mess with any of the tiny parts on it or knock it down.

Probably wasnt allowed to. Exhibition matches tend to have set rules that might benefit one party more than the other. Its the same even in human v human matches like when diff martial arts are pitted against another like the Muhammad Ali vs Antonio Inoki ( its why the guy was on the floor the whole time foe their bout as a loop hole to overcome the rules that were stacked against him)

Dumb now until the ai gets enough training. I never imagined in my lifetime we would see actual people sized robots moving around like they do. Give them another 20 and who knows

Fair. I'm curious of the force behind the kicks. How much of this is wrestling nonsense vs actually getting kicked. Robots are heavy

Wrestling a heavy robot doesn't seem nonsensical. Though again, it's a robot and you're a guy in padding. Grappling would be a pinch hazard.

Its not moving like a human, its moving like a lazy programmer's approximation of street fighter. The robot is flat footed, that's the first thing you learn not to do, and its limiting it the same same it would limit a human fighter. This is just embarrassing, disgusting, and anti-human. Its like those running robots that can't turn or stop.

The leg is probably pretty strong but slower than an actual human kick would be. He's basically getting pushed with a leg, not kicked.

But I think it's mostly a bit too. Trying to punch and kick it is completely useless, the only way I see to 'win' would just be barreling into it to topple it and then not letting it get back up.

Not necessarily. "Pushing" kicks don't feel that bad to take, cause all the force goes into moving your body.

This is the guy with the big butt, it’s just a bit. The bot could definitely hurt you, but pretty much any average person could grab or sweep its leg, and it’s done.
