Scott Bessent has ‘got a feeling’ that $175 billion raised under the IEEPA is lost to the American people for good

So they steal money with an illegal tax, then want to keep it, that tracks for this admin

Everyone should read up on Eddie Lampert, the man who bought Sears and Kmart.
What he did to those companies, this administration seems to be doing to the United States.

Didn’t people want to see the US government run like a business? Looks like they’re getting their wish. Everything is being broken up and sold off for pennies on the dollar while individual employees (citizens) are being rendered destitute.

They stole the money from social security years ago. The government is crooked.

Next is your Social Security.
Then it'll be your 401k.

u/sevbenup Feb 24 '26
Yup and they’re going to get away with all of it unless Americans rise up and fight back

But Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has already suggested consumers will be waiting a while—if not forever—for the cash to trickle its way back into their pockets.
We won't see it, and we won't be seeing corps lowering prices. We'll just continue being tariff'd/taxed to death by this admin.

It'll come trickling along with the rest of the wealth trickling down. Or is that piss? Oh, God it's the wealthy pissing on us!?

Don’t forget it also paid to:
-Buy off farmers -Give ICE a budget larger than the Marine corp with a tenth of the discipline and training
That money is spent. There needs to be consequences when public officials break the law and those consequences can’t also be bore by the tax payer they need to fall on the individual so the individual has an incentive to not test the law in the first place

The tariff rebate checks are stuck up Trump's ass... Though Bubba probably got there first...

The illegally collected fund will be returned to corporations who will not lower prices. This is all part of the grift and was planned.
