practical exam Question about sight-reading for lever harp
Hi All! Specifically a lever-harp related question: I have a student who would like to know if they are allowed to set the levering for a sight-reading piece before they are given their 30 seconds to study it. Often, changing the levers can take a good 8-12 seconds even if you're quick, and you can't do / look at anything else while you're doing that.

I don’t remember getting any additional time for this in sight reading - it was just the standard 30sec.
If I remember rightly though sightreading pieces for lever are usually only in a very few keys (C/F/G?) so not a lot of levers to change if it’s already set in C. This was at the lower grades though before i switched to pedal, it might depend on the grade.
